Why do ducks have webbed feet? Brandon of Pagosa Springs, CO
Dear Brandon,
God designed the world's creatures to fit the place where they are supposed to live. Ducks are well-suited to live in and around water. Like a pair of flippers on a scuba diver, webbed feet help ducks paddle through the water. If you watch them swim around in a pond, you can see God's wisdom in giving them those flippers!
