Since the Bible says that God is love, it is in His nature to love us (1 John 4:8). So, we might say that God loves us because of who He is — a God of complete love.

Also, people are a special part of God’s creation. Do you know how you feel about something you have made, like a picture you have drawn or something you have built? Things you have made with great care are very special to you, aren’t they?

God took great care in creating the Universe, and people are a unique part of His creation (read Genesis 1). Unlike trees and animals, God made people in His own image (Genesis 1:27). Since people are the greatest part of God’s creation, they are very special to Him. You can be sure, Jacquilyn that because God is your Creator, He loves you — and all people — very much!
