Ouch! I’m sorry your brother got stung by a wasp. I have been stung by wasps too. And they hurt.

Wasps do, however, serve good purposes. Adult wasps feed mainly on the nectar of flowers. This pollinates the flowers so they can produce new seeds. Also, wasps prey on spiders and other insects. Some wasps eat cockroaches and others eat ants. This helps to keep a balance in nature.
